Nested in the Landes forest, Ychoux is surrounded by the French National Park of the Landes de Gascogne, Grands Lacs and Atlantic Ocean.

Ychoux is appreciated for its proximity to the motorway network that links Bordeaux in 45 min., the Basque Country in 1 hour, and its railway station lets you reach Paris in 3 hours.

Its network of bike paths gives it fast and safe access to the Ocean beaches, great Landes lakes as well as the Vélodyssée cycling route.

Its Forges pond is the delight of anglers. Nearby, there is the arboretum with its walking and cycling trails so you can discover many species of forest tree, its waterways and local environmental wealth: all this enhanced by a campsite open all year round.

Famed for its ‘Notre Dame’ church and its chapel that looks over 3 miraculous springs, Ychoux is also a vibrant commune both by its economic activities, local celebrations of 15 August and its Ball-Trap club that is the annual theatre of the most prestigious national and international competitions.
