On this beach we meet to sunbathe with the family
Surfers watch the waves from the terrace of a restaurant overlooking the ocean , on the lookout for the best conditions. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the town center, this vast stretch of sand boasts a lifeguard station open during the summer. The beach is reached by stairs. Parking is easy (in the free parking lot at the end of Avenue des Échassiers). Parking is also available on Boulevard des Sables.
Top surf spot: Beginners and advanced surfers meet here to surf the Landes wave facing the Dune.

- Supervised beach from June to September
- Follow the safety instructions issued by the lifeguards in the bathing areas.
- Beware of sunburn, even on cloudy days. Use sunscreen
- Enter the water gradually to avoid the risk of hydrocution.
- The ocean is a natural space: protect it by respecting the environment.
- Keep beaches clean: don't litter or throw cigarette butts on the sand.
- Campfires and unauthorized camping are prohibited.
