"Les Roses Papotent" is a moment to yourself, to talk and take a breather.
Since October 2025, the association Les Roses d'Octobre de Biscarrosse, with the support of the CIAS des Grands Lacs, has launched monthly "cafés rencontres" for all women in the Grands Lacs affected by breast cancer.
These meetings take place every first Thursday of the month at the Café de l'Orme in Biscarrosse. For one hour, participants can freely share their experiences, doubts and hopes.
Led by a patient partner in oncology at the Centre Hospitalier d'Arcachon, these discussions aim to free up the voices of women suffering from breast cancer (whether diagnosed, undergoing treatment or in remission), reinforce their ability to take action on their own, enable them to play an active role in their own health care, create social links and break down isolation.
